Finding My Way Back to Blogging 💛

Blogging has never come easily to me. I’m an introvert living a quiet life with Chloe, and sometimes I wonder what I have to write about. After Chloe’s recent ER visits, I’m finding my way back...and realizing that maybe our quiet everyday life is worth sharing, too. 💛

I owe you a little apology.

It’s been longer than I wanted since I last posted here, and I’m sorry I haven’t been more consistent.

The truth is, blogging has never come easily to me.

I’m an introvert, and I live a pretty quiet life. Most of my days revolve around being home with Chloe, taking care of her, working on my business when I can, and enjoying the simple things around us.

Sometimes I sit down to write a blog post and think, “What in the world am I going to talk about?”

I’m not constantly traveling or doing exciting things. I don’t have a big, busy life filled with stories to tell every day.

And I’m starting to realize that maybe that’s okay.

Life With Chloe Comes First

The past several weeks have been especially difficult because Chloe has had previous trips to the emergency vet.

When you have a special-needs dog, everything else can come to a stop pretty quickly.

Schedules change. Plans get pushed aside. Sleep disappears. And your attention goes exactly where it needs to go—to the little one who depends on you.

That’s where mine has been.

Chloe has needed me, and taking care of her will always come before keeping up with a blogging schedule.

But now I’m trying to find my way back into a routine again.

Maybe My Quiet Life Is Worth Writing About

I think part of what has made blogging difficult for me is believing I always need to have something important or exciting to say.

But maybe I don’t.

Maybe there is something worth sharing in the quiet days, too.

The medication schedules. The vet appointments. The worry. The relief when Chloe is having a good day. The little moments outside together. The funny things she does. The things I’m learning as her mama.

And maybe even those days when absolutely nothing exciting happens.

Because I know there are other dog moms living quiet lives much like mine.

You may be home caring for a senior dog, a blind dog, an anxious dog, or a dog with medical needs. Your world might feel a little smaller than it used to because someone you love depends on you.

If that’s you, I hope you know you have a place here. 💛

Getting Back on Track

So this is me getting back on track.

I can’t promise that every blog post will contain some huge lesson or exciting adventure. Some might simply be about Chloe, caregiving, working from home, something I’ve learned, or a little piece of our everyday life.

And I think I’m finally okay with that.

This blog doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just has to be us.

Thank you for being patient with me while I’ve been taking care of Chloe. And thank you for coming back to read another little piece of our story.

I’ll keep showing up when I can…and hopefully I won’t wait quite so long before the next one. 💛
